YARD MAINTENANCE & LANDSCAPING – Caring for Country

YARD MAINTENANCE & LANDSCAPING – Caring for Country

by | 26 Aug, 2026 | Uncategorized

Kent Street, Urangan QLD

Scope of Works

BNTAC staff attended the above property to undertake landscape improvement and general yard maintenance works. The objective was to enhance the appearance of the front garden area while completing routine property maintenance.

Works Completed

Garden Bed Construction

  • Established a new garden bed along the property’s boundary.
  • Prepared the area by clearing and shaping the garden edge to create a defined planting zone.
  • Installed copper log edging to provide structural support and improve the visual presentation of the garden bed.
  • Ensured edging was positioned securely and aligned consistently throughout the length of the garden bed.

Planting and Mulching

  • Supplied and planted selected ornamental plants within the newly constructed garden bed.
  • Distributed mulch evenly across the planting area to:
    • Improve moisture retention.
    • Suppress weed growth.
    • Protect plant roots from temperature fluctuations.
    • Enhance the overall appearance of the landscape.

Lawn and General Yard Maintenance

  • Mowed all accessible lawn areas.
  • Trimmed and shaped overgrown foliage and vegetation.
  • Removed excess vegetation and general green waste generated during maintenance activities.
  • Conducted a final site inspection to ensure all work areas were left clean and presentable.

Site Observations

During the visit, the garden bed was successfully established and integrated into the existing landscape. The copper log edging provides a durable border and enhances the property’s street appeal. Lawn areas were maintained to an acceptable standard, and surrounding vegetation was trimmed to improve both appearance and access.

Outcome

The completed works have significantly improved the presentation of the property through:

  • Creation of a defined and attractive garden feature.
  • Installation of quality garden edging.
  • Introduction of new plantings.
  • Application of mulch for long-term garden health.
  • Improved lawn condition and overall site tidiness.

The property was left clean, safe, and well-presented upon completion of works.

A job well done by BNTAC’s Caring for Country team!
