Youth Fest 2026 was a big day of energy, creativity and connection, and the BNTAC Rangers were proud to be part of it!

Held on Monday, 13 April 2026 at the Seafront Oval on the Esplanade, Youth Fest is the Fraser Coast’s flagship Youth Week event, delivered by Fraser Coast Regional Council’s Community Development team alongside local organisations, clubs and businesses. Running from 8:00am to 3:00pm, the free event welcomed young people aged 12–25 for a full day of activities, music and community fun.

Our BNTAC Rangers, Kyle, Mylies, Elijah, and Travis, were on site throughout the day, engaging with young people and the wider community through a range of activities. One of the highlights was sharing cultural stories, providing an opportunity to yarn, learn and connect through culture in a relaxed and welcoming space.

Youth Fest had something for everyone, with live music and DJs, come-and-try sports, interactive activities, food vendors and community stalls all contributing to the vibrant atmosphere.

For the BNTAC Rangers, the event was a fantastic chance to showcase our cultural ways, connect with youth, and be part of a positive, inclusive event that celebrates young people across the Fraser Coast.

Being involved in Youth Fest is always a rewarding experience. It’s an opportunity to meet new faces, strengthen community connections, and create a space where culture, learning and fun come together. We loved seeing young people getting involved, trying new things, and enjoying everything the day had to offer. +We’re proud to have been part of it and look forward to being involved again!
