Cultural Awareness Training
Our Cultural Awareness Training program offers a profound understanding of Butchulla culture, history, and protocols. It is designed to educate and create a safe space to enhance people understanding and respect for First Nations/Indigenous heritage. We believe that cultural awareness is vital for building bridges of understanding and promoting reconciliation.

Session 3: Cultural Protocols
Session 4: Colonisation and Impact
Session 5: Stolen Generations
Session 6: Land, Sea, and Sky Connection/(s) on Country
Session 7: Cultural Competency
Session 8: First Nation’s Art, Design, Expression and Storytelling
Session 9: Working in Partnership
Session 10: Reconciliation and Reconciliation Action Plans
Session Information
Group bookings are preferred, a minimum of 4-6 people and a maximum of 10-15 people per training session.
Training sessions are 2 hours (between 10am – 12noon)
Training Venue is held at the Sunshine Coast University 161-179 Old Maryborough Rd, Pialba QLD 4655 or at your place of business. [We can come to you – on site]
Dates are subject to the Trainers availability, but mostly held on every second Friday between the months of February and November each year.
