C4C Team Brings Fresh Life to Kent Street Garden

The Caring for Country (C4C) Team has once again delivered outstanding results. This time at a property on Kent Street. On 16 February 2026, the team rolled up their sleeves to transform the outdoor area into a cleaner, safer, and more welcoming space.

The team worked with care, respect, and attention to detail, ensuring that every task supported the overall goal of maintaining a tidy and inviting property environment.

One of the first jobs for the day involved relocating a cactus plant from the veranda to a new home near the garage. The team carefully repositioned it to sit neatly alongside an existing pot, creating a more balanced and appealing entrance. Where the cactus posed safety risks due to its spikes, the team made sure to prioritise wellbeing and avoid unnecessary hazards, showcasing their safe work mindset.

The lawn received a full makeover with a complete mow and tidy edging around the fence line, garden beds, and pathways. After trimming, all grass clippings were responsibly gathered and placed in the property’s red bin. The result was a polished finish that instantly lifted the appearance of the yard.

An overhanging palm frond that had begun to brush against the fence was trimmed back. This small but important task helps protect the fencing, reduces clutter, and keeps the outdoor space safer for residents and visitors.

The central garden bed, home to two palm trees, also received attention. Overgrown branches were pruned to improve airflow, visibility, and the overall health and presentation of the garden. The area now feels more open, tidy, and well‑maintained.

By the end of the visit, the property showed a noticeable transformation. Defined garden beds, a neatly trimmed lawn, and cleared pathways all contributed to a fresh, revitalised outdoor space. The C4C Team completed every task to a high standard, ensuring both safety and professionalism throughout the day.

This visit to the Kent Street property is another great example of how the C4C Team is making a positive impact across the community, one garden at a time.
